The Emanuel Fried Drop Hammer Student Reading Series is a tribute to the legacy of our late colleague Emanual “Manny” Fried and his famous play Drop Hammer. The Drop Hammer Reading Series is an opportunity for Buffalo State students, faculty, and staff to read their original poetry,  spoken word, fiction, creative nonfiction or other creative performance  in front of an audience, and to meet and connect with other writers on campus.
