Thank you, thank you, thank you!

AFP2025:  Belonging Begins Here was a terrific success!  We welcomed over 800 students, faculty, staff and community members to our campus to engage with numerous presenters, workshops, and exhibits from a variety of disciplines and perspectives. Our students invested in experiential learning from multiple approaches, leaving the sessions having 'done' the work, rather than 'talking' about the work—that is authentic social and personal justice!  Bringing theory-to-action is a specialty of Buffalo State University, and on full display over the two-day festival led by our gifted faculty, staff, and administration. You modeled best practice for and with our students!  

We are especially grateful for the record number of instructors who chose to include AFP 2025 in their class requirements;  you did not 'cancel' class for the festival, you 'redirected' class to the festival.

As we move through our post-festival rituals, we are available to visit classes who attended AFP2025 to assist the unpacking and application of lessons learned during the festival.  Please let us know if you'd like an AFP staff member to visit your class, studio, or lab.

This was our 17th annual social justice festival—something you made more special by your and your students' presence.
