In Truth and Action: Celebrating Amazing Women - March 20
In the spirit of campus-community partnership, Buffalo State's Africana Studies Program and the Phi Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. are recognizing several amazing women as part of Women's History Month.
On Friday, March 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Jacqueline Vito LoRusso Alumni & Visitor Center, Mr. W. C. Brandy—a Buffalo State alumnus and member of Phi Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.—will host and announce the winners for the Womanhood Award, Steadfast In Truth Award, Freedom Through Service Award, and Strategic Partner Uplift Award. Two of our very own Queen Sisters, Dr. Holly Quicksey and Mrs. Yanick Jenkins, will be recognized, among several others. The event will come with light refreshments and a celebratory vibe. It is free and open to the public. Please come and enjoy the evening with us!
