From the Chair of the Buffalo State Council

I am pleased to announce the search firm selection committee has retained WittKieffer to partner with Buffalo State University in its presidential search process.  As you are aware, SUNY guidelines require us to work with a search firm to support the national recruitment of qualified candidates for the presidency of Buffalo State.

WittKieffer is the only U.S. top-10 executive search firm specializing in higher education. The firm conducts more than 300 higher education searches each year and has led more than 135 presidential searches over the past five years, including recent presidential searches at Binghamton University and SUNY Geneseo.

We look forward to working with WittKieffer and have full confidence in the firm’s ability to represent our campus constituents in attracting the most qualified pool of candidates for the position of Buffalo State’s next president. To that end, we need your help. On Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30, our search consultants from WittKieffer will be on campus to conduct a series of listening sessions with the campus. There will be open forum sessions as well as a number of constituent group meetings. This is your opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and share your opinions.  

A schedule of meeting times will be available shortly and published in the Daily Bulletin and on the Presidential Search website. These dates fall at the beginning of Homecoming week, so let us show the firm what it means to be a Bengal!
