Chemistry Spring 2022 Seminar Series: 'Industrial Applications of Adsorption' - March 24

Please join the Chemistry Department for the seminar "Industrial Applications of Adsorption," presented by Cem Celik, associate director of adsorption processes research and design (R&D) for Linde Engineering, on Thursday, March 24, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in Science and Mathematics Complex 151.

The seminar will describe Linde’s business, the role of R&D within Linde Engineering, and an overview of the function of the adsorption R&D team. It also will focus on adsorption technology and its applications in Linde’s commercial offerings, as well as provide an overview of adsorbents, equilibrium and kinetic adsorption, and adsorption processes, such as pressure swing (PSA), temperature swing adsorption (TSA), and vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA). The seminar will conclude with a display of how R&D continuously works to improve commercial offerings.
