This April, Buffalo State recognizes Holocaust remembrance through an educational display in the Student Union. Informational posters explore the history and impact of the Holocaust and encourage awareness, reflection, and learning.

Through campus initiatives such as Buffalo State’s Anne Frank Project and Sophia’s Legacy, the university is well positioned to support ongoing dialogue centered on education, storytelling, and understanding. The Anne Frank Project promotes learning through storytelling, theatre, and dialogue, amplifying voices shaped by oppression and history, while Sophia’s Legacy connects Holocaust education with survivor testimony and global resources that support reflection on difficult histories.
