Buffalo State’s official online data collection tool is Qualtrics. In our continuing effort to reduce costs, Buffalo State will no longer support Wufoo Online Form Builder. If you are a Wufoo user, your Wufoo account and data will be preserved until April 2021. This gives us just under a year to help you transition to Qualtrics.
The campus contracted with Qualtrics in 2014 after it was selected by a campus committee to provide an official online data collection tool for campus. Qualtrics is used by faculty for research, by students with faculty supervision, and by staff members across campus. Qualtrics is intuitive, and the Qualtrics support site provides excellent online documentation and on-demand video tutorials to get you started. Qualtrics is secure and provides an accessibility checker as well as lists of accessible question types and non-accessible question types. The Accessible Survey Configuration tool helps survey creators with appropriate themes, headers, alt tags, and more. Support is also available by telephone and chat for assistance, including complex survey design.
A representative from the IT Project Management Office will contact Wufoo users over the next month.
