The campus community is invited to attend “Climate Action: Solutions for Small Business...and Citizens,” a training that will provide solutions and ideas for preparing for the challenges of climate change, on Monday, September 23, at 4:00 p.m. in the LoRusso Alumni and Visitor Center.
Though targeted for small-business owners, the presentation will include strategies that are applicable to anyone who owns or rents property or a business. The speakers and vendors at the event are experts in converting equipment and appliances to electric, securing and installing EV chargers, solar power, alternative transportation, and recycling. Vendors include National Grid, GoBuffalo Niagara, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and the New York State Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I).
