Correction: Teaching and Learning Center Writing Circles - Please Resubmit Interest Form

The Teaching and Learning Center recently published a call to gauge interest in a new initiative for writing circles on campus. We are happy to report that interest has been strong; however, because of an error in the registration form, many responses were submitted anonymously.

If you previously submitted a response to participate in the writing circles project, we kindly ask that you take a moment to resubmit the form. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Writing circle groups will meet approximately six times during the fall semester for roughly 90 minutes at a time with about five members in each circle. The first meeting will be organizational. Subsequent meetings will be split between brief project updates from members and a focused discussion of one member’s work. Each member will agree to share a draft of their work once during the semester and circulate their draft approximately one week before the meeting. The other members will agree to read the draft and offer feedback. It is fully expected that these drafts will be works in progress. The hope is that the circle meetings can help members continue moving forward.

If you’re interested in participating, please sign up online. Once we collect the names of those interested, we’ll reach out to form the groups.
