EXE 678 Supervised Practicum in VI: Professional Practice and Dissemination in ABA

Pre-requisite: Graduate Standing

Advanced practicum applying principles of behavior analysis in special education and related settings. Focuses on professional practice, supervision, ethics, and dissemination of applied behavior analysis. Designed to help candidates fulfill fieldwork requirements for New York State Behavior Analyst licensure and BCBA certification.

EXE 683 Personnel Supervision and Management (formerly Supervised Practicum: Personnel Supervision and Management)

Pre-requisite: EXE 644

Offered Every Semester

Application of supervision and management practices in applied behavior analysis. Required for BCBA certification and NYS licensure. Integrates the BCBA Supervisor Training Curriculum Outline with applied field supervision experiences, combining classroom learning and concurrent supervised practice in applied settings.

HEW 225 Introduction to Public Health (formerly Introductory Epidemiology)

Offered Every Spring

Introduces chronic and infectious diseases and their impact on communities and populations. Topics include modes of transmission, causes, prevention, treatment, long-term management. Emphasizes public health strategies such as surveillance, health promotion, disease prevention, policy interventions to reduce health disparities and improve health outcomes.

IDE 358 History of Interior Design and Architecture II (formerly IDE 254 History of Interior Design and Architecture II)

Pre-requisite: IDE 205

Offered alternate years

A comprehensive survey of the major historical periods of architecture and interiors from the Industrial Revolution to the present.
