The following has been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for fall 2018 review:
New Course:
DMP 300 Analytical Listening. Prerequisite: DMP 201. Analysis of music recordings from various periods and genres based on several production parameters. Examination of how different elements and approaches to music production function within the artistic context; analysis of the way technical tools and choices made during the creation process affect the sonic outcome. Offered spring semester.
