Advanced to the President
The following have been approved by the College Senate Curriculum Committee and forwarded to the president for review:

New Program:
D.P.S. (Doctor of Professional Studies) in Creativity and Change Leadership (previously submitted as Ph.D. Creativity and Change Leadership; this change does not affect the courses or design of the program.)

New Course:
SWK 302 Social Justice Advocacy

New Course with Intellectual Foundation Designation:

SWK 230 Intersectionality of Difference (previously submitted as a non-IF new course)

The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for fall 2022 review:

New Course:
SWK 340 Applied Social Work. Prerequisites: SWK 330; social work majors only. Overview of the Just Practice social justice framework and the foundational theories used to create the Just Practice framework. Application of Just Practice and foundational theoretical perspectives in the assessment process at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. Social work skills-based course. Offered spring semester, beginning spring 2024.

Course Revision:
HEA 622 Advising and Supporting Diverse College Populations (formerly Techniques of Counseling). Prerequisite: Graduate standing. Fundamental skills of advising and supporting diverse college student populations; needs assessment and design of culturally inclusive interventions, strategies, and programs; facilitating individual and organizational pathways to success. Offered fall and spring semesters, beginning fall 2023.
