The following have been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the Curriculum Committee for review:

New Course:
EXE 691 Applied Master’s Project in Special Education. Prerequisite: Instructor permission. Teacher candidates plan, design, implement, and interpret results from their student-centered evidence-based intervention, grounded in professional literature. To demonstrate special education pedagogical and content knowledge and skills, candidates conduct this project in an applied setting and make data-based decisions to determine the impact on academic, behavioral, functional, or social outcomes. This work culminates in the dissemination of their written project. Offered every semester.

Course Revision:
EXE 623 Assessment and Instruction in Math for Students with Disabilities (formerly EXE 623 Assessment and Instruction in Math for Students with High Incidence Disabilities). Prerequisites: EXE 501 and EXE 503. Identifying the learning characteristics of students with disabilities in math; assessing and planning evidence-based math instruction to address skill deficits and conceptual understanding in standards-based mathematics and functional programing for grades Pre-K–12. Offered every semester.
