Discussion, Readings of Sean O'Casey's 'Juno and the Paycock' with Irish Classical Theatre - Tonight

The Theater Department will host a discussion of Sean O’Casey’s classic 1924 play, Juno and the Paycock, this evening, December 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Savage Theater and Communication Building's Flexible Theatre. Students will read scenes from the play, directed by Kate LoConti Alcocer, artistic director of the Irish Classical Theatre Company in Buffalo. Actress Josephine Hogan will join the discussion. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Ms. Hogan is cofounder of the Irish Classical Theatre and is celebrated for her performance as Juno and other major roles in the Irish repertoire. Students in the reading and discussion include Lissette DeJesus as Juno, Ezra Bedoya as Captain Jack Boyle, Kennedy Lee as Mary, Bobbi Clarkson as Johnny, Mohamed Abdi as Jerry Devine, Link Hagerty as Joxer, and Nathaniel Schumacher as Mr. Bentham. The event is free.
