Diversity Dialogue with Douglas Hoston Jr.: February 24

Please join us for our first Diversity Dialogue of the spring 2022 semester with Douglas L. Hoston Jr., visiting scholar in the Social and Psychological Foundations of Education and Adult Education Department, on Thursday, February 24, at 6:00 p.m. in Bacon Hall 306.

Douglas Hoston, a graduate of the doctoral program in curriculum, instruction, and the science of learning at the University at Buffalo, is a visiting scholar and a 2021–2023 fellow at Buffalo State College through the State University of New York’s (SUNY) Promoting Recruitment, Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Growth (PRODiG) initiative. Dr. Hoston joined Buffalo State in 2019 as a retention specialist in the Student Leadership and Engagement Office (SLE) and teaches courses in the Social and Psychological Foundations of Education and Adult Education Department at Buffalo State College. 

The Diversity Dialogue Series has gained a reputation for combining the use of interactive activities and dialogue as a means for participants to discuss issues of justice, equity, diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Equity and Campus Diversity Dialogue Series has also been hailed for its ability to bring together Buffalo State’s students, faculty, and staff.

The event is supported by Buffalo State’s Equity and Campus Diversity Office.
