Following a successful internal search, it is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr. Leah Panek-Shirley, associate professor of Health, Hospitality, Nutrition and Dietetics, to serve as the interim associate dean of the new School of Education and Applied Professions. She will join Dr. Raquel Schmidt, formerly associate dean of the School of Education and now associate dean of the new School of Education and Applied Professions. Dr. Panek-Shirley has been serving the School of Professions as the student success lead.
