Today, March 11, is the first day of the Islamic month of Ramadan. Eid is Wednesday, April 10. For this one month, Muslims will be fasting each day (abstaining from food and water), starting from slightly before sunrise all the way to sunset.
This is a note for faculty and staff members to be aware of these details, and to be especially cognizant of Muslim students fasting. Kindly provide necessary accommodations as needed.
