Relocation of Master of Science in Adult Education Program from Social and Psychological Foundations of Education and Adult Education Department to Higher Education Administration Department

I approve the proposal to move the master of science in adult education program from the Social and Psychological Foundations of Education and Adult Education Department to the Higher Education Administration Department. The move will provide enhanced support for the pedagogically aligned programs. This change, including the move of two faculty members and budget lines, is recommended to become effective August 5, 2024. Associate Dean Raquel Schmidt will serve as interim chair of the Social and Psychological Foundations of Education Department. The School of Education dean’s office will work with offices across campus to ensure a smooth transition.
