Registration is still open for Bengals Dare to Care 2020. President Conway-Turner invites all members of the Buffalo State College community to join her to demonstrate Buffalo State's commitment to racial justice.
During Bengals Dare to Care 2020, we will amplify the voices of members of our campus and neighborhood communities and engage in strategies for continued learning and action for justice.
Attend one of the weekly virtual workshops with local community speakers. Dive deeper and engage in source materials we've curated to meet the focus of each week. Use one of the suggested take-action opportunities to jump start or continue your participation in racial justice work.
- October 26–November 1: Voting, Civil Rights, and Racial Justice
- November 2–8: Education and Racial Equity
- November 9–15: Diverse Perspectives within Racial Justice: LGBTQ+ and Differently Abled
- November 16–22: Food Security, Housing, and Racial Justice
Weekly virtual workshops will be live-streamed on the Civic and Community Engagement's Facebook page.
