From the Chair of the College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee
Two candidates received the second-largest number of votes in the at-large College Senate election held May 1–5. Accordingly, the College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee will conduct a runoff election May 9–11 to determine which of the two candidates listed below will be elected to serve as an at-large senator during the 2023–2026 academic years.
- Matthew Baran, Assistant Director, Honors Program
- Sarah Reid, Campus Planner, Finance and Management
All members of the college faculty are eligible to vote in this runoff election and may vote by logging in to the College Senate voting portal. Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, May 11.

The College Senate Bylaws and Elections Committee strongly discourages using Buffalo State email services for campaigning. Please limit campaigning to the candidate statement posted in the voting portal.
