The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Michael E. Woodruff, assistant director of financial aid (retired), who died April 7, 2024. Mr. Woodruff joined the campus in 1988 and retired in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Ottilie; three children; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1184 Genesee Street, Buffalo, New York 14211. A Memorial Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. More information is available online.
