The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Nancy Belfer, professor emerita of design, who died November 17, 2024. Professor Belfer joined the campus in 1960 and retired in 1995. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Belfer, and is survived by her daughter Lauren (Michael Marissen), grandson Tristan Church (Lisa Church), and four great-grandchildren.
