The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Nanette Tramont, associate director of community relations (retired), who died March 26, 2024, following a brief illness. Ms. Tramont joined the campus in 1996 as the director of news services for the college. She moved to the Communication Department in 2006, where she taught news writing and journalism, coordinated the internship program, and advised students. She retired in 2021. Ms. Tramont is survived by two sons, a brother, and a sister. A celebration of her life will be celebrated Friday, June 14, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at Siena Restaurant, 4516 Main Street, Snyder, New York, 14226. More information is available online.
