The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Raymond W. Waxmonsky, professor emeritus of geography and planning, who died August 10, 2024. Dr. Waxmonsky joined the campus in 1968 and retired in 2000. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two children; four grandchildren; and extended family. Funeral services will be held in Chicago.
