The Buffalo State University community is saddened by the death of Virginia E. Grabiner, associate professor emerita of sociology, who died June 7, 2023. Dr. Grabiner joined the campus in 1975 and retired in 2012. She is survived by her husband, Gene; two children; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
