The campus community is invited to a one-day symposium, “Cotton: Perspectives in Industry, Technology, and Innovation,” hosted by the Fashion and Textile Technology Department, on Thursday, October 18, in the Campbell Student Union Social Hall. The symposium will welcome seven professionals representing a variety of businesses and organizations, including Cotton Incorporated, JCPenney, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Fair Indigo, and the FullEdit. The schedule is as follows:
- 9:25–10:40 a.m. Panel Presentation
- 10:50 a.m. –12:05 p.m. Panel Discussion
- 1:40–2:55 p.m. Roundtable with professionals
- 3:05–4:20 p.m. Roundtable with professionals
