The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) has elected Laurie Buonanno, professor of political science, public administration, and planning, to the position of president-elect (2024–2025, president 2025–2026) and Suparna Soni, associate professor of political science, public administration, and planning, to its board of directors (2024–2026). ASPA represents more than 9,500 of the nation’s scholars, public servants, and future administrators. The Buffalo Niagara Chapter plans regular events and activities designed to educate and offer networking opportunities, as well as to encourage college students and career changers to consider a future in public service.
