The Daily Bulletin

As announced in the September 23 issue of the Daily Bulletin, we are pleased to share the updated facilities work order request form.

Previously, work orders were submitted by members of the campus community by calling ext. 6111 or submitting a request online. We now ask that all routine/non-emergency requests be submitted via the new Maintenance Request Portal. Exceptions, which include urgent maintenance situations (flooding, electrical hazard, chemical spill, elevator entrapment, etc.), should be reported immediately to Facilities Customer Service at ext. 6111 on campus or (716) 878-6111 off campus.

As always, emergency situations should be reported to the University Police Department by calling ext. 6333 on campus or (716) 878-6333, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The new Maintenance Request Portal brings efficiencies in that it fully integrates with maintenance leadership, staff, and processes on the back end. Also with the new system, users will be able to check the status of their work order.

This new system is available to anyone with Buffalo State credentials; sign-in is required. Outstanding requests on the old system do not need to be resubmitted. The implementation of this update on all SUNY campuses is part of a SUNY Capital Facilities initiative.
