The Social Work Department and the Title IX Office are encouraging students, faculty, and staff members to participate in NYS Purple Thursday on October 17. Purple is the color of the domestic violence awareness movement, symbolizing peace, courage, survival, and dedication to ending abuse. Share a selfie wearing your purple on social media using the hashtags #PurpleThursday, #DVAM, and #Every1KnowsSome1. Let’s create a sea of purple to show support!
