A new meet-up club at Buffalo State University—the Law and Policy Review Club—founded by undergraduate Matthew Karovski, will hold an introductory meeting Friday, November 1, at 3:00 p.m. in Caudell Hall 233. Members will have the opportunity to

• discuss, research, and write about law and policy;
• write and edit articles related to law and policy; and
• work on web page design, communications, and photography.

Topics will include

• the legal reasoning behind controversial judicial decisions,
• the economic reasoning behind current and proposed public policies,
• the societal trade-offs involved in law and policy, and
• the impact of law and policy on society.

Light refreshments will be provided. This event is open to all and is sponsored by the Political Science, Public Administration, and Planning Department. Assistant Professor A. K. Shauku is the faculty advisor.
