The Buffalo State Anthropology Department and the Houghton chapter of the New York State Archaeological Association (NYSAA) will host the 106th annual meeting of the NYSAA this weekend (May 2–4) at the Crowne Plaza-Riverside in Niagara Falls. The annual banquet, awards ceremony, and banquet speaker will be presented on Saturday evening. The banquet speaker is Kelly Berliner, eastern regional director of the Archaeological Conservancy.
