D2L Brightspace is the official learning management system (LMS) at Buffalo State University, which allows for dynamic learning to occur in the online environment. The tools provided in Brightspace allow students and faculty to post and share documents and other course content, gain 24/7 access to grades, send messages, post to discussion boards, and conduct synchronous or real-time conversations in a virtual classroom.
Whether you are new to Buffalo State, trying Brightspace for the first time, or hoping to use more features in the platform, we recommend reviewing the Getting Started with Brightspace - Access, Training and Resources article in our Knowledge Base. This article covers Accessing Brightspace, Accounts, Training, Preparing Course Content, Additional Functionality, Brightspace Assistance, and the Brightspace Champions program.
You can also review our Brightspace Navigation Basics for more information on the Institutional and Course Home Pages, Navbars, and the Minibar in our instance of Brightspace.
