Applications Now Open to Buffalo State's Post Production Diversity Initiative

Buffalo State’s Post Production Diversity Initiative (PPDI) is accepting applicants for its second year cohort. PPDI is a one-year program that prepares 20 participants from diverse backgrounds for entry-level careers in video editing and audio mixing in the highly competitive music, video, and media industries. It is free to qualified applicants. Designed to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the post production workforce, PPDI accepts both Buffalo State media production, digital music, and TFA students, as well as community members with a background in music mixing and/or video editing. PPDI is a collaboration between Buffalo State University, Motion Picture Editors Guild–New York, Avid Technology, Get Fokus'd Productions, Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center, and GCR Audio. It is funded by a New York State Career Readiness Entertainment Workforce (CREW) Diversity Grant.
