Please join the Burchfield Penney Art Center for “The Nuts and Bolts of Form,” the next workshop in the International Center for Watercolor Summer Series with artist and instructor Jennifer Koury, on Thursday, July 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The summer workshop series is inspired by the current exhibition Suddenly I Awoke: The Dream Journals of Charles E. Burchfield.
Nuts, bolts, and buckets of scrap metal are the highlight of the day, creating a still life with highlights and dramatic shadows. The instructor will demonstrate and explain the properties of light and shadow falling across forms and will provide a still life of juxtaposed metal forms.
The cost of the workshop is $42 for members and $52 for not-yet members.
