The Political Science and Public Administration Department is pleased to announce the next talk in its fall 2022 Public Service Lecture Series, a presentation by Bart Roberts, associate director of research and faculty engagement at the UB Regional Institute, on Wednesday, September 28, at 4:30 p.m in Buckham Hall A122.

Mr. Roberts managed the two-county regional sustainability plan One Region Forward, an effort to build tools and strategies for advancing sustainable development across Erie and Niagara counties, and is overseeing its ongoing implementation. He will discuss the importance of regional planning, some of the impacts of ongoing growth and sprawl, and how the One Region Forward plan seeks to address challenges and opportunities. All are invited to attend.
