Many thanks to the Buffalo State community for your generosity and support of the 2022 SEFA/United Way Campaign. I’m pleased to announce that Buffalo State raised over $75,000 in pledges and contributions. Your efforts truly demonstrate our compassion to our neighbors and commitment to this community. I thank the generous donors along with campaign chair Dean Wendy Paterson for her leadership and campaign coordinator Maria Garrity, as well as Susan Rubino and Allison Winkowski, our SEFA committee, and our campus ambassadors for volunteering their time and talent to this project.

I am also pleased to announce the winners of this year’s raffle held at the SEFA celebration luncheon:

1. Sunday brunch at the President’s House for 10 people, awarded to Anne Hoehn, Art Conversation
2. Reserved parking space, donated by Vice President Barnum, awarded to Awilda Ramos Zagarrigo, Exceptional Education
3. Office pizza party for up to 12 people, donated by Provost Mayrose, awarded to Mary Pasternak, Custodial Services
4. Bengal deck party for 10 people, with seasonal refreshments at a fall 2023 football game, donated by Vice President Gordon, awarded to Jeffrey Tyler, IT Help Desk
5. Two tickets to the Bengala Scholarship Gala, donated by Vice President Finnerty, awarded to Lisa Boettcher, Admissions Office
6. $100 gift certificate to the Barnes & Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore, donated by Barnes & Noble manager Lynn Puma, awarded to Scott Richards, University Police
7. Lunch for four people at Campus House, donated by Campus House director Jeffrey Hirschfelt, awarded to Felicia Stanley, Weigel Wellness Center
