Rees Street will be closed from Monday, June 24, to Wednesday, July 3, for the installation of a fiber optic duct bank, part of the ongoing project at Karner Hall, formerly known as Building 50. During this period, we recommend using Grant Street as an alternative route to access the Sports Arena and the Student Apartment Complex.
The closure of Rees Street is necessary to establish a reliable Internet connection between the campus and Karner Hall. Upon its completion in winter 2024–2025, Karner Hall will serve as the new location for Buffalo State University Police, Moving Services, Grounds Department, and Property Control.
