Spring 2024 classes begin today, January 29. Any student who is waiting on a response from an instructor should contact the instructor now. If the instructor is not available, students can call the departmental office and ask if someone can assist them. A list of departments and phone numbers is available online.

Students who are on a waitlist for a course should check the schedule to see if another section has seats available. It’s always a best practice to encourage students to secure a seat in a course as soon as possible, and not wait until the start of the semester.

Registration ends Tuesday, February 6, at 11:59 p.m. Students who are attending a class that does not show on their Banner Student Detail Schedule must add the class as soon as possible but no later than February 6. All instructors should be checking their Banner rosters, as registration continues to change the first three weeks of the semester; Banner is the official system of record for registration.

If students decide they no longer want a course, it is their responsibility and very important that they drop the course as soon as possible. Non-attendance does not equate to a drop. Students who no longer want a class must drop the course no later than February 6. Students should be reminded that failure to drop a registered course that they don't attend will result in a final grade of E.

There are no drops after February 6. Starting February 6, students must withdraw online in Banner to leave a class. February 6 is the last day to leave a class without financial penalty. Refund percentages based on date of withdrawal are available on the Student Accounts Tuition and Fees web page.
