'Ride the Cyclone' Opens Thursday

The Buffalo State Theater Department and Casting Hall Productions proudly present Ride the Cyclone, in the newly renovated Flexible Theatre, Donald Savage Building. 

The musical follows six teenagers whose lives are cut short by a freak rollercoaster accident. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller named Karnak invites each to compete for the ultimate prize—the chance to return to life. Book, music, and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell.

Directed by Sabrina Kahwaty, digital content specialist; choreographed by Naila Ansari Catilo, assistant professor of theater/dance; music direction by Karen Saxon, lecturer of music. Featuring student actors: Emily Cannon, Syed Chowdhury, Richard Foxe, Lexus Hale, Adrian Morales, Arianna Morris, and Alex Rivas Ayala. Understudied by: Sage Lambie, Destinie Morales, Adam Rochester Jr., Myshawn Sikes, Paige Suarez, and Rio Wood. Student production team members: Anne Gerace, Samantha Griffen, Bryan Harris, Raheim Oates, Shailin Paredes, Alvaro Rodriquez, and Min Zo.
