Posted: Friday, February 2, 2018SAMC Phase 3 Demolition Begins
As the Science and Mathematics Complex (SAMC) Phase 3 project gets under way, the south wing of the remaining part of the vacant Science Building will be demolished. The demolition is planned to begin today and is expected to continue through June.
This work will necessitate the intermittent closure of Bengal Drive on the west side of SAMC or Bengal Walk between the Science Building and the Classroom Building. These routes will not be shut down simultaneously, and alternate detour routes and fire lanes will be posted when a route is shut down.
