Special Visit from SUNY University Faculty Senate President Keith Landa: May 13

From the Chair of the College Senate
SUNY University Faculty Senate President Keith Landa will visit Buffalo State College on Friday, May 13. Please consider joining Dr. Landa for a conversation with faculty, staff, and students from 10:45 to 11:55 a.m. in Cleveland Hall 205. Discussions with Dr. Landa may be centered on Buffalo State campus culture, strengths, and concerns. In addition, Dr. Landa will meet with College Senate administration and campus governance leaders, and will attend and speak at the May 13 College Senate meeting.

This discussion is an important opportunity for Dr. Landa to listen and respond to the many voices and perspectives on Buffalo State’s strengths and challenges in the current moment. His knowledge of the SUNY system and its campuses will provide us with context and information that will help frame our situation within the larger picture. Your participation is important. Please register using the LibCal system. Depending on the number of participants, we may divide the group into two shorter sessions to create more intimate conversations with Dr. Landa.

The SUNY University Faculty Senate is the official agency through which the university faculty engages in governance of the university. The University Faculty Senate is concerned with effective policies and professional matters and serves as a resource on governance for the university.
