The Continuing Professional Studies Office is again offering the foundational Supervisor Training Academy: The Holistic Communicator on Fridays October 11, October 25, and November 8, from 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. and November 22 from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. The training covers such topics as emotional intelligence, setting expectations, giving and receiving feedback, and running effective meetings.

The Supervisor Training Academy provides a dynamic and safe environment where lived and educational experiences combine to create a personalized, practical, and professional road map for growth. Designed exclusively for top-performing employees ready to step into supervisory roles, our academy transforms high achievers into exceptional leaders. Our programs use a combination of in-person training and virtual coaching to provide participants with support as they implement new strategies in their workplace.

Buffalo State faculty and staff members will receive a 50 percent discount; registration closes Friday, October 4.
