Arthur O. Eve Week of Service and Buffalo State Alternative Spring Break 2025 are collaborating to bring you a great service project that will introduce and support a community partner that addresses job and education access needs in our community. We will be working with SUNY Attain Lab.
The nontraditional ASB four-day will NOT have an overnight component. All participants will return to their respective homes at the end of each volunteer day. Those who live in the Buffalo State residence halls will need to make proper accommodations to secure their stay over the spring break week at the participant’s cost. The project requires participants to commit to at least three of the four days. Please clearly mark your commitments in the registration form to facilitate accommodations and transportation.
All are welcome to sign up (undergrad, grad, part-time, full-time, faculty, staff, and Buffalo State friends). Participating in all four days will award registrants 20 hours of civic engagement credit. It is a great opportunity for participants to be introduced to the SUNY Attain Lab, support impactful initiatives in our community, and learn about new ways to be civically engaged. The project includes an orientation meeting on Thursday, March 20, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in South Wing 100, reflection sessions over lunch, and four service days.
Tentative Schedule:
