Tell Students: Learn to Be an Advocate - May 2

The Katherine S. Conway-Turner Civic and Community Engagement Office is collaborating with the Phi Alpha Kappa Omega and Student Political Society student organizations to offer 30-minute hands-on lessons on how to register family and friends to vote, facilitated by the League of Women Voters of Buffalo Niagara, on Thursday, May 2, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the west lobby of Butler Library.

RSVP and sign up for one of the following time slots:

  • 11:00–11:30 a.m.
  • 11:30 a.m.–Noon
  • Noon–12:30 p.m.
  • 12:30–1:00 p.m.
  • 1:00–1:30 p.m.
  • 1:30–2:00 p.m.

Participants are invited (but not required) to volunteer for an additional 30 minutes to help people register to vote. Participants will earn credits toward the President’s Certificate for Community Engagement. Please contact the CCE with questions.
