Join us for the next workshop in the March into Midterms Academic Success and Learning Skills Workshop Series, "Getting the Gist of College Reading: Strategies for Successful Academic Reading and Note-Taking," presented by Faherty Nielsen, interim director of tutoring services, on Wednesday, March 8, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Butler Library 314. This workshop will provide an overview of two strategies that will help you read with focus and intent so you can avoid walking away from an assignment asking, "What did I just read?"
Hosted by the Academic Success Learning Centers (the Academic Center for Excellence, Math Center, Tutoring Services, and Writing Center), all workshops take place Wednesdays during March from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Butler Library 314.
