Tell Students: President's Certificate of Recognition for Community Engagement

Buffalo State College President Katherine Conway-Turner and the Civic and Community Engagement Office want to recognize your achievements and the positive impact you have made in the community. If you have completed between 200 and 1,000 hours of community service, apply now!

Accepted community service activities include service-learning courses, individual or group volunteering, community activism, participating in Bengals Dare to Care Day or Alternative Break, or any combination of these activities.

The following activities do not count for this recognition: student teaching, classroom observation, paid experiences, and program-required internships.

This award will help you stand out in your job or graduate school applications and connect you with others on campus who make a difference in our community. While the application will still be open in spring 2022, December graduates are strongly encouraged to apply before the end of the fall 2021 semester. For more information on how to apply, please visit the Civic and Community Engagement website.
