Tell Students: Registrar's Office - Registration Tip: Complete Your Fall 2022 Registration by August 26

Fall 2022 classes begin Monday, August 29. If students are waiting on a response from an instructor, they should contact the instructor now. If the instructor is not available, students should call the departmental office and ask if someone can assist them. A list of departments and phone numbers is available online.

If students are on a waitlist for a course, they should check the schedule to see if another section has seats available. It’s always a best practice to secure a seat in a course as soon as possible; students should not wait until the start of the semester.

Most registration questions can be answered on the Registrar's Office Registration web page.

Changes requiring instructor assistance should be completed no later than Friday, August 26. Registration ends at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, September 6. If students are attending a class that does not show on their Banner Student Detail Schedule, they must add the class as soon as possible, but no later than September 6.

If students decide they don't want a course, it is their responsibility (and very important) to drop the course as soon as possible. Non-attendance does not equate to a drop. If students no longer want a class, they must drop the course no later than September 6. Failure to drop a registered course that they don't attend will result in a final grade of E.

There are no drops after September 6. Starting September 7, students wishing to leave a class must withdraw online in Banner. September 6 is the last day to leave a class without financial penalty. Refund percentages, based on date of withdrawal, are available on the Student Accounts Refunds and Financial Liability web page.

Students may email the Registrar's Office or call (716) 878-4811 with questions.
