"Fire Safety Tips and Prevention with Buffalo Community" Presentation: April 23

Please tell students that the Buffalo Fire Department (BFD) will visit our campus to discuss "Fire Safety Tips and Prevention with Buffalo Community" on Thursday, April 23, from 11:00 a.m. to noon in Bulger Communication Center 424. 

This talk will feature Marvin Spates (Captain) and Danielle Nicolosi (Lieutenant–Planning Officer) from the BFD, which contributes to the Buffalo community through public safety and fire prevention. The BFD provides fire protection and other critical public safety services, including emergency management services (EMS) to residents and business owners citywide. Capt. Spates and Lt. Nicolosi will share their experiences as firefighters through a career perspective and provide fire safety tips and prevention. In addition, they will discuss how they ensure a safe and secure environment to all citizens and visitors through professionalism, leadership, teamwork, and partnership with all levels of government.

This event is open to all members of the campus community free of charge and is funded by the Faculty-Student Association. It is also sponsored by the Business, Economics, and Public Administration Department.
