PRSSA To Host Speaker on 'Working in PR in the Nonprofit World'
Jenna Hecker (PR-Ad '24), PR & marketing coordinator for Ten Lives Club, a local cat rescue organization, will speak on "Working in PR in the Nonprofit World" on Thursday, May 7, at 12:15 p.m. in Buckham Hall B-142.
At Ten Lives Club, Ms. Hecker leads efforts to increase awareness, promote events, and support the organization’s mission through creative and impactful marketing initiatives. Her work focuses on connecting the community with meaningful causes, helping to drive support and engagement for animal welfare.
In addition to her role in the nonprofit sector, she is the founder of her own social media marketing business, Jenna Rose Promotions, where she partners with local businesses and brands throughout the Buffalo area.
Her campus presentation is hosted by the Buffalo State chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, where she served as vice president. All Buffalo State students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the free event.
