YuJa Lumina is Buffalo State's Media Server/Video storage, creation, and sharing platform for faculty, staff, and students. Creating and sharing videos can be an effective means of communicating important information, demonstrating knowledge, and getting to know each other better. For videos to be accessible to as many users as possible, making sure they are accurately captioned is an important first step. 

Although all newly created videos within the platform are auto-captioned without any additional effort from their creators, older videos that were imported into YuJa may not yet be captioned. Please refer to the Knowledge Base articles below for information on captioning your videos and then editing them for accuracy. We also encourage all users to delete any videos they may no longer need (perhaps saving them to another storage place first), especially if they are not captioned.

Faculty and staff members are encouraged to register for training sessions periodically listed in the Buffalo State Workshop Registration System, and/or contact SAS Content Access for support.
